Your New Orleans Home Away from Home

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was so roomy for our 4 adults and 3 kids. The outside patio was a definite bonus. The binder of area information was above and beyond amazing. So much time and effort into all the information. We were given a lot of extras snacks and everything we could need for our stay.

This is a great find in New Orleans. We felt very safe to walk around. There is a little store within walking distance and a great local authentic seafood restaurant close by. There were 6 of us staying here and there was plenty of room. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We would definitely stay here again!!

Highly recommend! Fit the 5 of us perfectly! Beds are comfortable and we felt right at home. The courtyard is so serene.
The beautiful souls are extremely responsive and informative. Ben charmed us with his storytelling! We recommend going to Robert Market. We went several times to stock up on snacks, alcohol and hot food.

Ben and Aminata were extremely communicative, and truly lovely to talk with and meet! They were extremely helpful when the block briefly lost power the first night that we arrived, and brought us candles and flashlights. Ben put on a concert for us which was also an amazing experience - he is a very talented musician and we had a ton of fun dancing, listening, and eating gumbo. Overall a fantastic experience, I highly recommend their place!

I could Not have asked for a better airbnb! The Whole experience for All 6 of us was So Great!! We Loved the place and vibes… thank you guys for helping me with my Birthdays for my bf and friend! I will stay there again when we go back… thanks Christy

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was incredible, the haven was comfortable and well appointed. Amanita and Ben were so wonderful and communicative - answered questions quickly and left clear instructions for everything. They also offered lots of suggestions of things to do and places to eat, many of them we took and all were home runs. We opted to include a private courtyard concert with Ben and it was very much one of our favorite experience in New Orleans. Could not recommend Happiness Haven and its hosts highly enough and hope to be back in the future.

This was exactly what we wanted for our first stay in New Orleans! Short Uber to the French quarter but a peaceful place to come home to for relaxing! The garden area was exactly as pictured and we used it every morning for our coffees! I would definitely stay here again!

Wow… what an amazing courtyard!  The weather was great, so we spent our mornings and evenings enjoying the birds, the water feature and George, the gecko.  
We also hugely enjoyed our private musical evening with Ben, and wish him well with the new CD.  
The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and the security system was a nice extra.  It is close enough to walk to the grocery store, and Uber back with our purchases.  
The Binder that was provided for us had all the information we needed plus lots of great suggestions.  The hosts also were in contact with us upon our arrival, giving us info we needed to get there from the airport, as well as the lockbox, keys and security system.  They made us feel very welcome in their home as well as in the city of New Orleans.

Staying at Aminata and Ben's Haven was a wonderful experience. I have stayed in several homes in New Orleans and this was one of the best. Property is clean and well kept, location is very convenient and the hosts are attentive and a pleasure. Hopefully my family and I will get lucky enough to stay here again when we return.
